Claire graduated in 2001 with a degree in French and Spanish from Edinburgh University. She then began a successful career in retail management with a large multiple, managing several stores before relocating to Jersey in 2006. She was well versed in the recruitment, training and management of staff when she joined 1st Recruitment in 2009, following a period of independent travel around Central and South America, where she went to improve her Spanish and fulfill her dream of visiting the Galapagos Islands! Claire manages the busy Jersey office, whilst also consulting on the permanent side too.

Why I like working for 1st Recruitment?

I enjoy the client facing aspect of the role, getting to meet people from all walks of life. The office is a fun environment to be in too - very fast paced and friendly. I am happy to say that I look forward to getting to work every morning, as every single day is challenging and entertaining!
