Sharon is originally from Scotland and is a Law Graduate from the prestigious Glasgow University. On graduating, she decided to move away from Law and joined the National Australia Bank in the UK as a Training and Development Manager. From there Sharon’s career took her into Customer Service Management, at one stage in her career managing over 200 staff in a 24 hour Customer Service Environment. Sharon made a progressive move into Recruitment in 2000 and progressed her career within the same Boutique consultancy in Glasgow, specializing in Accountancy and Finance Recruitment. As a significant part of the original team she played an integral part of the continued growth of this business to become Scottish Recruitment Agency of the Year several years running.

Being an avid traveller, Sharon had travelled Australia many times and she made the move to Sydney at the beginning of 2008. Since joining 1st Recruitment, Sharon has continued to specialise in Accounting and Finance Recruitment and, through close relationships with Human Resources and Line Managers, also covers HR Recruitment. Sharon covers the AsiaPac Region and has successfully placed roles in Australia, New Zealand, China and Singapore and continues to maintain and establish a professional relationship with clients who trust her experience, knowledge and network to guarantee them a smooth recruitment process from job spec to successful and sustainable member of staff.

Sharon is a first class headhunter and networker and loves working on roles that are challenging and can offer candidates a career rather than just a job. She is friendly, outgoing and professional. Her Scottish sense of humour always shines through and you can be guaranteed a fun and easy going environment where customer service is the key factor.
