Corporate Secretarial Senior Administrator  Guernsey | Contractref:13372  
A worldwide financial institution is seeking a corporate secretary to deliver professional, effective, high quality services on behalf of a number of listed and unlisted companies, limited partnerships and unit trusts, for a period of approx. 22 weeks. Responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of entities under the guidance of a Corporate Secretarial Team Leader, organising and preparing agendas for and taking minutes of meetings, maintaining statutory books, managing statutory requirements (i.e. returns, annual & ad hoc filings, etc.), liaising with internal Relationship Managers and with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors. The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of the offshore fund industry particularly with regard to the statutory and regulatory requirements for Guernsey based collective investment schemes and associated vehicles, a basic knowledge of the London Stock Exchange and Channel Island Securities Exchange listing requirements and continuing obligations. 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar corporate secretarial role required.

For a period of 9 months maternity cover, you will prepare financial statements for a portfolio of private fiduciary client entities and be involved in the review process for financial statements of entities prepared by other members of the team. Principal Responsibilities include bookkeeping, client reporting and business support. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of regulatory issues, book-keeping, accounts preparation, technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP and IFRS) and knowledge of Guernsey Trust and Company Law.
