General Manager – Financial Services  Sydney, Australia | Permanentref:6183  
Working within a successful and expanding boutique financial services organisation responsible for strategy, business modeling and continued business growth. Owing to further business expansion this is a newly created role working within a boutique financial services organisation. This senior position will entail reporting to the board of directors and various committees on such matters as business intelligence, financial modeling and business deliverables within the financial services sector. This is an interesting and varied role in which you will play a proactive part in the continued expansion of this successful well-established boutique financial services organisation. This role is not just about maintaining a business but also looking at ways to improve and expand upon existing services and practices. As such this would be an ideal role for a General Manager with a proven related track record to join a successful business, taking it to the next level whilst reaping the rewards and benefits on offer. Key responsibilities include implementing the strategic direction of the business in consultation with the directors goals and objectives, reviewing current reporting systems and internal functions improving where necessary or perhaps even implementing new ones,monitoring business performance against budget goals and objectives set, managing and mentoring the client services team, implementing the marketing and sales plans Ensuring all company administration and compliance processes are up to date and adhered to and managing the Human Resources functions and processes. Key requirements for the role include a minimum of 5 – 10 years experience within business management, planning and financial oversight, previous experience of working with boards of directors and committees, a proven history of delivering strong financial and operational leadership, extensive reporting experience including proven skills in business and financial management to include financial reporting, P/L statements, project management, Human Resources and monthly reporting.
