Head of Adult Safeguarding

A vacancy has arisen for a Head of Adult Safeguarding on the beautiful island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands, where you will be responsible for ensuring that there are robust structures, systems, and processes in place to promote a high standard of evidence-based practice in the field of safeguarding adults. In this role, you will ensure adult safeguarding is embedded into the daily practices of all who work with vulnerable adults, operate as Lead/Support Officer in safeguarding adult arrangement functions, and provide expert advice to a wide-ranging workforce on all aspects of adult safeguarding where matters can be highly complex, sensitive, and emotive. Applicants must hold a professional Social Work qualification (CQSW, Dip SW, Social Work Degree or equivalent), current registration with Social Work England, and post-graduate qualification training in Adult Safeguarding.
