The purpose of the role is to provide a professional HR service in order to ensure there is a good HR practice in the management of employees and that the service provided is viewed as making a positive impact on the delivery of business objectives. You will be expected to work proactively with their divisional directors to implement strategic business planning and support the modernisation, engagement and performance of the organisation. You will make a significant contribution to the development of HR strategy, initiatives and policy development and will provide and receive highly complex, sensitive and contentious information, where agreement or co-operation is needed.
The successful candidate will have highly specialist knowledge of human resources best practice and associated legislation, acquired through professional HR qualification to degree level plus additional training or equivalent experience to masters level would be advantageous. Chartered MCIPD (Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development), or equivalent and you are required to demonstrate Continuous Professional Development in HR and related fields.
