Pensions and Process Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for our Jersey candidates who may be open to taking on a role in Guernsey. Our Client – a leading provider of actuaries, administration and consultancy – is seeking a Pensions Specialist for a 1 year contract. The purpose of the role will be to facilitate the configuration of a 3rd party Defined Contribution (DC) pension scheme administration system.
The Jobholder will be responsible for reviewing process specifications and for liaison with the 3rd party provider. They will also ensure that the Client’s system is as efficient and automated as possible, and that it can process the diverse range of pension schemes which they administer.
Responsibility will also lie with the Jobholder for setting up existing schemes onto the new system, for co-ordinating migration of scheme data from the old system, and for testing the development work and ensuring it fits specifications and is fit for purpose. They will also make regular reports on progress and carry out other ad-hoc duties as reasonably required.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience working with DC pension schemes at a senior level and thus strong knowledge of DC pension scheme administration processes. A relevant professional qualification is desired but not essential, as is knowledge of the legislative requirements of international and Channel Island’s pension schemes. Contact Kim for details.
