Our client – a global leader in private banking – is seeking a Relationship Management Assistant. The purpose of this role is to support the Relationship Manager which demands a range of technical and operational knowledge, as well as interpersonal and communicative skills, in order to deliver comprehensive wealth management to High Net Worth private clients. The Relationship Management Assistant also assists the wider team in the acquisition of new client relationships.
Specific responsibilities of the role include managing e-mail and telephone calls, assisting in account opening in terms of providing, validating and assessing the risk of client documentation, as well as arranging client access to e-banking. Account closing also is within the remit of the role.
The successful candidate will have previous banking experience in both front and back office, possess good verbal and written communication skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other IT software, such as Host, CRM, On Demand, OTMS and Market Map. The successful candidate will also be encouraged to study for the Guernsey Financial Advice Standard (GFAS) level 4 qualification.
