Our client, a prestigious global bank, is seeking a Banking Operations Specialist to undertake a wide variety of responsibilities in Security Operations, who provide local and specialised support to the wealth management business based in Guernsey.

Within this role, the successful candidate will ensure SWIFT instructions are accurate and processed in accordance with internal benchmarks, coordinate, control and assist colleagues for outsourced functions in the processing of various securities transactions, perform daily review of Cash and Securities Reconciliations and provide support and testing for the development of IT systems used by the Bank in relation to Operations functions.

This role requires a candidate with no less than 3 years’ experience in a similar role with securities settlement knowledge across a variety of product types and markets, knowledge of SWIFT/Securities transactions and a general understanding of corporate actions.
