Lead Pharmacist, Band 8a (High-Cost Drugs)

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Lead Pharmacist to support high-cost drug management within a progressive healthcare environment. This Band 8a role is central to delivering strategic oversight and clinical support for prescribing practices across primary and secondary care. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise the use of high-cost medicines, drive cost-saving initiatives, and ensure evidence-based, patient-centred care. A master’s degree in pharmacy, GPhC registration, a minimum of three years’ post-registration experience in a hospital or community pharmacy, and strong experience in medicines optimisation are essential. This role offers a relocation package, competitive pay, and an annual bonus.
