A superb career-boosting opportunity within the Insurance Team at one of the Channel Islands’ largest firm of actuaries and consultants. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of insurance consultancy services to a varied client base, to include life insurance, life reinsurance, general insurance, captive and other projects based in Guernsey, Jersey, Malta, Gibraltar and the UK. They will also be responsible for the review of complex or new work prepared by other team members. The ideal applicant will be a Fellow of the Institute or Faculty of Actuaries (or hold an equivalent qualification if outside the UK), with 2-3 years’ relevant actuarial experience. Knowledge of PROPHET and/or a statistical programming language such as R or Python would be beneficial.
