Advanced Specialist Speech & Language Therapist

We have a fantastic new opportunity for an Advanced Specialist Speech & Language Therapist on the beautiful island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands. In this role, you will manage a clinical caseload and provide a highly specialist service to adults with speech, language, communication and/or swallowing difficulties in acute, rehabilitation, continuing care, and community settings. You will provide assessment and intervention as an autonomous practitioner using sound clinical reasoning skills and evidence-based practice to develop effective individualised care plans. To succeed in this role, you must have Level C RCSLT Dysphagia, Level 3 RCSLT VFSS, and RCSLT Tracheostomy competencies and knowledge of alternative and augmentative communication systems such as hi and soft tech.
