Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner

As part of the Positive Behaviour Support Team, the PBS Practitioner will work alongside both children and adults with learning disabilities in a variety of community-based settings in Guernsey. Duties will include conducting comprehensive functional behaviour/skills/preference/reinforcer assessments using the principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis, implementing behaviour analytical interventions and teaching plans, and facilitating ongoing data collection to monitor progress. Applicants must hold a master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis or Positive Behavioural Support, have UK-SBA and/or BACB registration and hold a valid driving licence. This role includes a full relocation package, which includes interview and relocation travel, competitive pay and an annual bonus. There is also subsidised accommodation for those travelling to the island alone and an 8-year employment permit for those relocating with a partner and/or family member(s).
