Meet Reece, one of our talented Recruitment Consultants here at 1st. We asked Reece all about his role in the team and what makes the Channel Islands so special.

Position within 1st Recruitment:  Recruitment Consultant, Guernsey

What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most? Helping candidates achieve their goals and improving people’s lives

What is your favourite place in the Channel Islands and why? There are so many wonderful places in both Guernsey and Jersey but if I had to pick a favourite it would be Candie Gardens, in Guernsey. To walk through these historic gardens taking in the spectacular panoramic views on the way into St. Peter Port is really quite special. There is also good selection of places nearby to eat with my favourite being Le Petit Bistro with its authentic French cooking and French vibe which really makes you feel as if you have just stepped off the Champs Elysees! 

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself: When I was young and fearless I was accepted to audition for the apprentice at the age of 19 - safe to say I was not hired!
