Friday Win - Charity Comp.

This month we are celebrating the incredible work local charities do in Jersey and Guernsey, and are giving you the chance to WIN £100 for a charity of your choice in the Channel Islands! Is there a local worthy cause that you’d like to nominate? All you have to do is LIKE and SHARE this post and COMMENT below with the local charity you would like us to give this amazing prize to.

We will pick a name at random, and their chosen charity will receive the donation.

The winning charity will be announced on 10th May!

The below terms and conditions relate solely to the ‘Friday Win’ charity competition posted on Friday 26th of April 2019.

The promoter is: 1st Recruitment Group, Company No. 63669 whose registered office is at Unity House, 56 Halkett Place, St. Helier, Jersey JE2 4WG.

The competition is open only to residents of the Channel Islands aged 18 years or over except employees of 1st Recruitment and Oi Advertising Limited, their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition. Nominations must be for local charities only (within the Channel Islands.)

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Only one entry will be accepted per person for their chosen charity. Multiple entries from the same person on behalf of a charity will be disqualified.

Closing date for entry will be Thursday 9th May at 12am midnight. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

Like the competition post on Facebook and comment below nominating the local charity. 1st Recruitment will select a winner at random from all who successfully complete the above, donating £100 to their charity of choice.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

The prize is as follows: A £100 donation to a local charity of your choice.

The prize is as stated and no other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable and will be addressed to the chosen charity only.

Winners will be chosen: Friday 10th May using software, from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents.

The winner will be notified on Facebook within 24 hours of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner and charity.

The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England].

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
