Adult Social Worker (Band 6)

A fantastic opportunity to join the Adult Community Services team and provide research-based casework service to service users. You will provide consultation, support, specialist advice and joint working within the integrated services to deliver person centred care and support. Other responsibilities for this role include providing complex psychological support for service users with terminal illness/life threatening illnesses and their families, providing specialist social work advice within the Adult Community Care Team and participating in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings. The ideal candidate must hold a recognised Social Work qualification, such as a Diploma/Degree in Social Work or CQSW and have evidence of post graduate study in a relevant area. If you would be interested in living on the beautiful island of Guernsey this role includes a full relocation package, which includes interview and relocation travel, competitive pay and an annual bonus.  There is also subsidised accommodation for those travelling to the island alone and an 8-year employment permit for those relocating with a partner and/or family member(s).
