Lead Pharmacist, Band 8a

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Pharmacist to lead Controlled Drugs governance at a key healthcare facility. The successful candidate will provide expert clinical, legal, and ethical advice on controlled drug management, ensuring compliance with legislation and patient safety. This leadership role involves strategic development, clinical audit, training, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in pharmacy or equivalent, GPhC registration, and have a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience. The ability to create strong relationships with stakeholders and experience in change management are essential. This role includes a relocation package, competitive pay, and an annual bonus. There is also subsidised accommodation for those travelling to the island alone and an 8-year employment permit for those relocating with a partner and/or family member(s).
