Substance Misuse Practitioner (Band 6)

Do you hold professional registration (RGN/RMN) or a social work qualification, and have evidence of CPD at Diploma level? We are seeking a Substance Misuse Practitioner to join the Community Drug & Alcohol Team, delivering specialist assessment and interventions in a variety of settings. Duties will include assessing patients/clients with complex care needs, developing specialised programmes of care to meet those needs, undertaking comprehensive risk assessments and managing emergency/acute situations. Applicants must have multi-disciplinary experience of working with clients, families or groups and substantial experience of teaching, training and professional supervision. This role includes a full relocation package, which includes interview and relocation travel, competitive pay and an annual bonus. There is also subsidised accommodation for those travelling to the island alone and an 8-year employment permit for those relocating with a partner and/or family member(s).
